New Year Cricket Camp Ages 15 / 18

Information

The new year cricket camp is designed to intergrate video analysis with improving core skills for each individual that attends. Our elite cricket coaches Josh Bousfield and Paul Grayson will be running the camps mixing batting and bowling drills with video analysis. Core fielding drills and competetive net sessions will also take place to create game based scenarios of all three formats of the game.

Abilities

Players who currently play hard ball cricket and represent a club is nessecery.

Video Analysis

Each player who attends the camp will leave with a portfolio of analysis to keep allowing a better understanding of how to improve and what drills to use. Each camp this year will include video analysis sessions so this means each player can compare results moving forward throughout the pre season and actual cricket season leading into another busy 25/26 indoor winter.

Match Based Scenarios

Using all three formats of the game we will finish the sessions with match based scenarios and field settings to improve the understanding of what type of cricketer each individual would like to be. Becoming a three dimensional cricketer is key to progressing onto becoming a proffesional within the sport.

Fielding

The coaches will be placing a great importance on explaining how vital it is to have the highest standards when it comes to fielding. This links in with spotting the players who have the standout values on becoming a captain wether that be in the local cricket sides or in the county cricket set ups in the north east.

Strength and Conditining

Although S and C will not be a part of the upcoming camp, we will be on call to answer any questions regarding the topic and how each player can improve physically as well as working on key skills in cricket. It is important that each player has a clear understanding on how important both aspects compliment each other.
